White goods which includes items such as air conditioners, washing machines, and refrigerators were typically considered luxury items by most Indian households. Today with the combination of increasing wealth, local manufacturing, and a decrease in prices these goods have become a key part of most households. Furthermore, as India continues to grow these items will continue to expand into all households. Sagar Semiconductors is working with local companies that are developing and manufacturing white goods for the domestic and global markets.

Air Conditioners

Air conditioners require both MOSFETs and IGBTs. Typical topologies include PFC, Fly-back, Full- bridge, Buck, Boost, and other low power converters like LDO, etc.

Washing Machines
